Naphthol Red PR112

A bright orange biased red,  similar in hue to Pyrrole red in masstone straight from the bottle, however it exhibits a subtle difference as it is tinted with white, subjectively making cleaner peachy pinks.  This ability to maintain its saturation in mixes has ensured that is still a popular artist pigment in almost all artist paint ranges.  There are many varieties of Naphthol reds some with poor lightfastness credentials.  The PR112 however, retains very good fade resistance, especially in acrylic and gouache when used in darker tints or pure masstone.
