Ultramarine PB29

A deep, high chroma and transparent blue in masstone, which loses its intensity quite quickly when tinted with white. A mainstay on almost all artists' palettes since its discovery in 1826. Ultramarine blue has a slight violet bias that leads to more natural looking 'landscape greens' when mixed with almost any yellow.   Mixed with magenta it produces a wonderfully bright, clean violet, similar in hue to dioxazine violet, but with a more controllable saturation.
