Hansa Orange PO5

A deep but yellow undertoned orange. It has moderate tinting strength when added to white, but is prone to lose intensity in the process.

Transparent in masstone, but when tinted in a 50:50 mix with white, gives a pleasant pastel, peachy orange that is opaque.  Small additions of this colour are great for warming reds and yellows or neutralising blues.  

Permanence is good in thicker applications, dropping to moderate when used in very light pastel tints or thin washes/glazes. ***Not recommended for permanent watercolour work
