Pyrrole Red PR254

A modern organic , slightly orange biased red, developed for the automotive industry and quickly reaching notoriety as the distinctive 'sportscar' red. It has a hue profile that sits somewhere very close to cadmium red but without any of the safety issues associated with cadmium pigments.  Though not as intrinsically opaque as genuine cadmium red in masstone,  it can accept a percentage of white to be added for increased opacity before any lowering of saturation and noticeable pinkness becomes visible.  It has excellent weather and lightfastness properties.
